Mary-Pappas Sandonas

Teacher

I practice to alleviate pain, to maintain strength, health, and flexibility, and to nurture happiness and resilience. The joy of diving deep into each practice, to re-connect and integrate my mind with my body, informs and inspires my teaching. I practice for those moments when I am fully absorbed and present in the silent sacredness of my deepest self, seated fearlessly in my heart.

Why I Practice

Teaching yoga touches my heart and soul, brings meaningful purpose to my life, provides intellectual and physical challenges and joyfulness. Working with my students allows me to serve and facilitate, cultivating community and meaningful connections, and delighting in their aha moments on the mat.
